Learn more about eternal roses
What are eternal roses ?
Eternal roses are real roses that have been grown from the ground and cut from the rose plant and then treated with a glycerin preservative to keep them looking fresh and beautiful for months to years. Eternal roses go by many names on the internet and they also are sometimes called eternal roses, eternal roses, eternity roses, infinity roses, immortal roses, roses that last eternal, and eternal roses. Often times eternal roses are confused with dried roses, wax roses, and artificial roses, but they are not the same; moreover, eternal roses are eternal with a glycerin solution and undergo a multi-step chemical treatment to create the long lasting effect.
How long can eternal roses last ?
Eternal roses, unlike fresh roses that usually last only a week or two, can maintain their beauty for years without wilting or losing their color. However, eternal roses may lose their vibrant color and fade over time if exposed to fluorescent light or excessive sunlight. Additionally, very humid or dry conditions are not ideal for eternal roses, as excessive moisture can cause the glycerin in the petals to weep out. Prolonged exposure to very low humidity can also lead to the petals becoming brittle and more prone to cracking or falling apart, similar to regular dried roses.
How to care for eternal roses ?
Care for eternal roses includes avoiding exposure to strong sunlight or fluorescent lights to prevent the roses from losing color and fading. Additionally, excessively humid or dry conditions need to be avoided, as too much humidity can cause the glycerin solution in the roses to ooze. Exposure to very low humidity for long periods of time can also cause petals to become brittle and more likely to crack or fall off, similar to what happens with regular dried roses. Therefore, in order to maintain the beauty and longevity of eternal roses, care needs to be taken to avoid these adverse conditions and the roses should be gently cleaned regularly to remove dust.
